Lois A. DeMoss, 96, passed away on November 9, 2018.
Lois graduated from Wadsworth High School and was an active member of Kingsway Alliance Church. She was an avid card player and enjoyed traveling and baking, but most of all she loved her family.
Lois was preceded by her husband, Morton and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Polyak, Trish (Kit) Christie, Arlene (Steve) Kelly, and Nan DeMoss; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Duke and Janie Jessel; 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Susie Jones and the staff of Concordia At Sumner and Great Lakes Caring Hospice for their care of Lois.
Funeral services will be held at Kingsway Alliance Church, 2500 Kingsport Way, Akron, on Friday at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Rob Hill. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Donations, if desired, may be made to Kingsway Alliance Church.
